Where does the name Cavlux come from?
The name Cavlux brings together two worlds.
"Cav" comes from cavallo (Italian for "horse") or cavalier (French for "rider"), while "lux" reflects our commitment to thoughtful design, lasting quality and timeless style. Together, they reflect the philosophy behind every Cavlux saddle box — combining the world of equestrian sport with the experience of a manufacturer that has spent more than two decades creating durable and functional transport solutions.

Cavlux didn't begin as a business plan or a marketing idea. It has grown through everyday conversations with riders, trainers, parents and ambassadors who use our saddle boxes in real life. We meet them at competitions, trade shows and stables, where every conversation helps us better understand the needs of everyday life with horses. Those conversations shape every improvement we make. We believe the best products are created when the manufacturer stays close to the people who use them every day.
Why it makes a difference
Mass production has never been our approach. Every Cavlux saddle box is designed and built in our own workshop, giving us complete control over every stage of production. That allows us to spend more time refining the details that make a real difference to durability, functionality and everyday use.
